Finally Home from Surgery #24

There used to be a time... when the chair that sits in the corner of my bedroom served as a place for me to meditate early in the morning as I listened to the birds sing outside of my window and feel the cool morning breeze.... after arriving home from our trip to Durham, NC, I decided to give in and make Baby Boy a little bed there (using the cushion from the chair of course)
Our ride home was long and exhausting. He slept most of the way and when he awoke, his eyes stayed fused shut and he kept Husbands hoodie over his face to keep the light out. He cried out a few times that his eyes were hurting, which made me a bit anxious to get home and get him comfortable.... As soon as we hit the door he engulfed a burst of energy and excitement due to feeling all of the love and attention that was waiting for him ... For the first time in four days, I had a minute to just relax.....
